About us
At Ember Acupuncture, we specialise in restoring balance and well-being through expert acupuncture care. Led by Ian Prytherch, our clinic focuses on treating fertility, wellness, and insomnia by addressing the root causes of physical and emotional symptoms. Daily stresses, lifestyle choices, and injuries can disrupt the body’s natural harmony, but acupuncture helps restore it. Using ultra-fine, painless needles, we activate specific energy points to stimulate the body’s healing process. MRI studies show that acupuncture calms the central nervous system, regulates hormones, and releases endorphins—supporting both body and mind on the path to better health.

“I remember the initial days out of college treating patients in my first ever clinic and the sense of amazement and fulfilment as people began to heal. What I love about what I do is that I have never lost that feeling of my first ever clinic, helping someone to overcome an illness, condition or to conceive is wonderfully rewarding. Now 15 years on and a Father, at the centre of how I practice is the idea of balance.
That includes balancing our mind and emotions as well as our body and keeping them in harmony. This is when good health can arise.Whether this brings a new baby, a lifting of an illness or a clarity and balance in our emotional lives, Acupuncture is a powerful tool that can work alone or together with Western Medicine”.
Ian is at his happiest spending time with his family, he enjoys chess, reading and a love of electronic music and is currently writing two books on Female and Male Infertility.
